Roadside Relics Website
We have updated the Roadside Relics website to add some new content and liven up some of the pages.
They needed some new updates to their news section and also to their custom shop to make them more inviting to viewers and allow for more easily updating those areas.
To accomplish this we added a new rotating view of the custom shop that has helped to create some excitement for their products.
We also added an updated news area on the home page and a spiced up main news page. This allows them to add different types of news items to their website and keep their viewers up to date on new products and events that Roadside Relics has.

Jordin Sparks' success spills over to Web design company

American Idol made Jordin Sparks, a Glendale 17-year-old, a household name, earning her spots on magazine covers and offers for record deals.
Each week when Idol airs, Sparks gets another big break - and so do her Web designers, two entrepreneurs working out of a home office in Phoenix.
When Sparks made AI's Hollywood cut, her fan club commissioned Star Dot Star, a graphic design and software development company, to build a Web page. Star Dot Star founders Jim and Lisa Sipe took the assignment a step further. advertisement
"We really try to pull together all parts of a customer to create a brand," Jim said. "Second, we solve any business or workflow problems, whether it is with inventory or shipping, usually things that are done online."
The tiny firm applied its hybrid combination of marketing, Web development, graphic design and workflow problem-solving to all things Jordin Sparks. The effort was quickly noticed.
As Sparks grew in popularity, so did Star Dot Star. Almost overnight, the 5-year-old company with a list of about 20 local clients more than quadrupled its Web traffic and soon began courting national customers.
Jim and Lisa, Star Dot Star's only employees, first created a Jordin logo, a "cartoonized" photo of the singer on a star backdrop. The logo has appeared on television, a billboard at Westgate City Center and hundreds of fan club T-shirts and bumper stickers. They designed an official Jordin Sparks Web site, a portal where fans can get accurate information and fan club merchandise. Finally, they organized a way for fans to send the singer fan mail, order products and participate in AI viewing parties.
Because the Fox network prohibits AI contestants and their family members from contacting media or other business prospects, the fan club's Web site gives outsiders an avenue to gain information about Sparks and work with her fans, rather than work with the star herself.
With the Sipes' work, www.officialjordinsparks.com started about a month ago with about 100 viewers in its first week. It now pulls an average of 10,000 page views a week.
Because Star Dot Star links its own company Web site to Sparks' page, its own traffic has grown from 100 to 1,000 visitors a day over the same period, Jim said.
Not long ago, the firm scored its first national advertiser, Lexi Lu designs, a nationally marketed jeweler that designs pieces for celebrities and high-end boutiques.
Talks with other potential clients continue.
"What we've really seen is the potential for growth," Jim said.
